It is named after the maiden name of the chef’s “gran”, who ran the village grocery store for over 50 years, selling, notably, excellent game in season. François-Xavier Simon, better known as “Chef F-X”, has brushed the cobwebs off fine dining and your delightful hostess, Hanna, immediately makes you feel at home as she presents the wine list with effortless poise and aplomb.The chef has forged his own culinary identity, drawing inspiration from pedigree French recipes, an amazing lineup of skills and a highly modern versatile palette. His rich, sometimes playful score seeks to sublime the ingredient’s flavour, purity and authenticity.
