Culinary excellence is guaranteed at Hotel Stein, thanks to chef-patron Mike Schiller and his dishes based on selected ingredients. The four-course surprise menu ("PhantasTisch") is available if booked in advance (24hr notice) – either with fish/meat or vegetarian. The wonderfully aromatic "vegetable essence", for example, is always an optional extra. French classics are available à la carte as an alternative to the set menu. Out on the restaurant floor, friendly maître d' Melanie Stein-Schiller is in charge of service. The bright conservatory and charming garden terrace are delightful spots in which to dine. Top tip: Head to the shop for house-made delicacies to take home.
