Since its reopening, this lovely restaurant just outside the city centre has acquired a new head chef in Robert Steuri. In the evenings, he and his dedicated team showcase precise craftsmanship and top-notch ingredients in two intriguing and innovative five- or seven-course set menus, one of which is vegan. The dishes are full of finesse and carefully composed, elaborate but not cluttered – a great example is the green asparagus, mushrooms, snow peas and beans. Options are more limited at lunchtime. The attractive setting sees the charming features of this old building, such as high ceilings with decorative mouldings and wood panelling, seamlessly integrated into its sleek and elegant modern design.
